Haneen Ahmad, MSW, LICSW, holds a Master’s of Social Work with a focus on youth and family services from the University of Washington. Additionally she is certified as a Chemical Dependency Professional and focuses on co-occurring disorders.

 

Haneen has worked with children and adolescents for over a decade in areas of academics, mentorship, substance abuse and mental health counseling. Additionally Haneen specializes in working with pregnant and postpartum women who may be dealing with issues such as trauma/traumatic birth experiences or perinatal/postnatal mood disorders. Haneen has served a wide range of diverse clients. Her therapeutic approach is interactive and client centered, tailored to the individual client’s needs, utilizing techniques of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing. Her overall aim is to support clients to foster and sustain the healthiest lives possible.
